Lithium Alcohol NSAIDs Cisplatin Dofetilide Hormones Phenytoin Clofibrate Colestipol Water pills Nitroglycerin Cholestyramine Heart medication Diabetes medication Certain antibiotic injections Monoamine oxidase inhibitors High blood pressure medication Medication used to relax muscles for surgery Inform your doctor about any other medication you may be taking in any other form. Lasix Overdose In case of overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911. Lasix Notes Inform your doctor if you have or have ever had : Gout Diabetes Diarrhea Pancreatitis Premature birth Hearing difficulty Liver/kidney disease Difficulty passing urine Systemic lupus erythematosus Heart disease/previous heart attack Low blood levels of calcium/ chloride/ potassium/magnesium/sodium Lasix Missed Dose Do not double doses to make up for a missed dose. Lasix Uses Furosemide controls high blood pressure but does not cure it. Lasix Other Uses Take your doses at regular intervals. Do not take your medicine more often than directed. keep in mind that you will need to pass urine frequently after taking furosemide.
